Internal Coordination * Coordinate closely with Roasting, Warehouse, Sales, Technicians, Logistics, Delivery, and other internal teams to ensure orders move smoothly from request to delivery. * Become familiar with our weekly and bi-weekly delivery routes, customers, freight, ground, and pickup orders and processes. * Communicate with the Delivery Driver Manager and delivery drivers to coordinate and resolve issues or delays that arise along delivery routes. * Work with the Orders, Operations, Sales, and Logistics Managers to navigate approval processes, get answers, and resolve customer requests. * Prepare accurate invoices for delivery drivers and clearly communicate order changes to the warehouse. *Daily Operations* * Run daily reports, process payments, and stay on top of recurring tasks and deadlines. * Keep customer and order information accurate across our systems. * Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures. * Help create a positive, collaborative team environment where everyone pitches in to take care of our customers. *What Success Looks Like* In this role, success means our customers know they can count on us. About Carolina Achieve: Carolina Achieve is a new charter school in Mebane, NC, opening in August 2025 for Kindergarten - 2nd Grade. The school will serve 100 students per grade level, with no more than 25 students in a classroom. Each classroom will have a lead teacher and support from an instructional assistant. Job Summary: Carolina Achieve Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly skilled Exceptional Children’s Teacher to join our dynamic team. The Exceptional Children’s Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students, ensuring they have access to a rigorous and meaningful education in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This role will involve collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and school leadership to create a supportive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized or small-group instruction to EC students in both the general education setting and resource room. Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and accommodations to meet the needs of EC students. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with state and federal regulations, and in partnership with the EC Coordinator. Use data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all students, including IEPs, progress reports, and assessments. Advocate for students and ensure that they have access to the necessary resources and supports to be successful. Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to support positive behavior and student success. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and needs. Collaborate with other school professionals (e.g., speech therapists, counselors, and administrators) to ensure comprehensive support for students. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education and inclusive teaching strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid North Carolina Exceptional Children (EC) teaching license and/or an Adaptive Curriculum license appropriate to the student population and assignment. Licensure Compliance: Maintain all required North Carolina Department of Public Instruction licensure and certification requirements for the position throughout employment North Carolina state certification in Special Education (K-12) or eligibility for certification. Experience working with students with a range of disabilities, including but not limited to learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and emotional/behavioral disorders. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to develop and implement IEPs in compliance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Passion for working with students with exceptionalities and helping them reach their full potential.
